Cruise ships bring billions into the American economy. While the number of Americans taking cruise vacations has grown every year since 1997, the majority of passengers are from other parts of the world.

6.11 Billion Dollar Plan

We have put together a business plan, which combines years of work and over 20 individual business plans in one package which will accomplish many of the goals our Nation needs to start on the road to recovery.

Our budget funding request is high, 6.11 Billion Dollars. With the millions currently out of work, there is no one single project or plan that can create all the jobs America needs today. What can be done is to ensure that this one project FITS the goals of America, creates more jobs for the dollar than any other project, and starts generating cash flow back into this Country the very first year by delivering a service and product to the world.

Together we will work to ensure a positive outcome for the Country.

A top economist at Wells Fargo, Scott Anderson, said the worst is yet to come as he expects 3 million Americans to become jobless in 2009. "Some of the worst job losses are ahead of us, not behind us... This will be one of the worst job markets in the postwar period," Scott Anderson was talking with news reporter at USA Today on Monday, January 27th, 2009. Add this to the jobs losses from 2008 and we are looking at nearly 6 million people out of work!

Rebuilding the economy is all about jobs, not Government bailouts. We need to put people back to work, and keep those who have a job working.

Many of the materials for this construction project will come for other American businesses across this Country. Green engineering will allow us to demonstrate to the world, America’s commitment to safeguarding the environment. Such improvements will then lead to new capabilities, and to new designs for energy savings products, which will even be used in your own homes.

Creating 255,000+ Jobs…

We are seeking return the “American Flagged Cruise Ship” back to the high seas. This will return many American jobs to cities all across this Nation. This will develop the infrastructure necessary for America to compete in future contracts with other world shipping companies to construct many of the new vessels the world needs for transporting not just people, but cargo and fuel.

Our plan delivers in three major ways; first we are purchasing several current cruise ships to start the process of delivering services to the world. This brings income in today and ensures the future for our employees. These vessels are also a necessary part in the development of the new cruise ships we are going to build.

Next our plan is to establish at least a dozen harbor and dinner cruise operations across the Country. This helps to spread the job development across our nation. Additionally, our plans for these operations include free education programs for schools and low income families in the local communities. Learning the history of the development of our nation and sharing the natural wonders of wildlife unique to many areas of the country helps to inspire learning in our children. We are working to develop plan for returning the capability of constructing the largest cruise ships ever built to the United States. This will vastly improve the job outlook for many sectors of our economy.

Facts behind the Jobs

It is estimated that 14 million North Americans will take a cruise next year, last year 12.6 million Americans enjoyed this form of vacation. While this number may drop temporally, due to the economy, people world-wide will soon return to the seas for their vacation needs.

Industry experts are estimating that these numbers will continue to increase approaching 34 million Americans taking a cruise yearly by 2015. Even if we take into account the slow current market due to the world recession, these numbers are more than expected by 2020.

With the life span of new cruise ships being 25-30 years, this means that even more cruise ships are going to be needed and there is more than enough room in this market for a new major cruise line providing the vacation experience for the traveling public.

During the period of 2000 to 2007, major cruise lines launched 84 new ships to meet the growing needs of the public. These ships employ anywhere from 300 to 1500 and more in crew on each vessel. Over the past 6 years the industry has added nearly 85,000 jobs!

Currently just over 20 new vessels are in various stages of construction or on the drawing boards as the industry gears up to meet the growing demand on the world for cruise vacations.

This shows more than enough room for a new player in the marketplace who is able to provide a multifaceted market plan able to withstand economic recession, geared and able to serve the world, and self-generating a mini recovery within our local and National economy.

BUILDING AN AMERICAN SHIPYARD LIKE NO OTHER

PART OF OUR DEVELOPMENT PLAN IS THE RE-CONSTRUCTION OF AN AMERICAN SHIPYARD.

We are borrowing the money for the infrastructure development of an American shipyard in order to build our ships. But our company would not own or be a part of the shipyard; instead we are upgrading the facilities in order to reach our goals and to insure the jobs of those shipyard workers. We are willing to assume the additional debt necessary to accomplish this task in return for an economy which is bringing money back into this Nation in the form of ship sales to the other markets of the world. We buy more than any other Country, we are rebuilding every major seaport to receive the new super- cargo ships, yet we can’t build our own ships. This is wrong and this needs to change. We must continue to develop American businesses which can supply the world new products and increase our National GDP.

This shipyard will be the marvel of the world, able to meet the shipping requirements the world is demanding. These new mega ships are able to transport goods, and even fuel, on a much more efficient base by transporting more in a single trip than possible today. This is just one more key to helping to stabilize the prices we are paying today at the stores and gas stations of the Country.
