We are investing in the future of our children by pursuing clean energy, new energy research and saving our environment from the perils of yet another great cruise liner being cut up on the beaches of this planet, causing untold damage to the environment and causing countless deaths and diseases from the careless profiteers whom employ people for this work without regard to their safety.
Saving ships from the “breakers” is the responsible and smart move, while it costs more to update these ships; they provide a great piece of history. They allow us to develop new technologies and energy saving methods, all the while saving our environment. Some of these vessels are only a few years old and have a long life left ahead of them. The cruise industry has been moving more and more towards the “mega –ships” packing people on board by the thousands, to save a dollar.
We see a different future, and while the world’s largest cruise ship and technological wonder may someday be in our corner, we must preserve the individual experience which our Mother earth is waiting to share with us all.
